Notice of Budget Committee and City Council Meeting

In accordance with ORS 294.426, this serves as notice that two public meetings of the Budget Committees for the City of Waldport, Waldport Urban Renewal District, and Road District #3, Lincoln County, State of Oregon on the budgets for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, will be held at 355 Alder Street, Waldport, Oregon.

The meetings will take place on April 6th, 2024 at 09:00 a.m. The purpose of the first meeting is to receive the budget message and review the enterprise utility funds and the Road District. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committees will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

A second meeting will take place on April 20th, 2024 at 09:00 a.m. at 355 Alder Street, Waldport, Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and review the general administration, and remaining funds. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committees will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

At this meeting a public hearing will take place regarding the recommendations of the City of Waldport Budget, Urban Renewal District, Road District Budget and the uses of State Revenue Sharing.

After the recommendations from the Budget Committee, the Waldport City Council will hold a special council meeting for the purpose of a Public Hearing on the Waldport City Budget, the Urban Renewal Budget, the Road District #3 Budget, and State Revenue Sharing. This meeting will take place May 23rd, 2024 at 04:00 p.m., held at 355 Alder Street. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Waldport Council will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Waldport City Council during the hearings.

A copy of the budget documents for each meeting a week prior to each meeting at 355 Alder Street, Waldport, Oregon between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or available on the city of Waldport Website: waldportoregon.gov.
